A Step in Time…

Posted by on May 21, 2012

It has been a lovely warm and sunny weekend in Ontario during this year’s Victoria long weekend.  It seems as if Mother nature embraced the visit from the future King of Canada. We have not seen a rain cloud in the sky!

According to the Press, the British royal visit of Prince Charles and the Duchess may be considered a great success. It’s good to adjust oneself to a future that cannot be avoided and have peace with it instead of wishing to see a younger monarch on the throne. Hopefully for Prince William that time will come one day, too. In the meantime it is, as it should be, Prince Charles time to blossom before his crowning glory time will arrive.

While I am writing this,  fireworks are being lit in our residential area. The noise brings me back to Memory Lane when we used to watch the fireworks, while driving home from cottage country, on the Queen Victoria Holiday weekend.

The latter reminds me also of a video I watched this weekend about a gentleman with the name Peter Saunders from South Nothingham, England who was interviewed on Nov. 4, 2011 about the Queen Victoria cottage he had purchased 7 years earlier. It is a fascinating and enjoyable story of making one’s dream come true.  Therefore,  I should not reveal the details, instead,  I invite you to watch the video. If you have more info about the video story leave me a message, please.  It will be very much appreciated.

Enjoy…
