Beloved Pooches and Halloween…

Hullo Friends!

Thanksgiving was nice. I got a few extra
treats and walks on the Flexi leash. :)

Its very slow at my LOOK-OUT.
The squirrels seem to have settled.
Most birds and butterflies have vanished.
Bees and other insects are still here.

The only one I saw passing through
this morning was a dressed up squirrel.

I think she was rehearsing for Halloween.

And a black cat who seemed to be very old
and tired passed through so slowly,
that I took pity on the feline.

A few days ago I learned about
Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth’s beloved
pooch, who lived in the Queen’s palace.

Imagine living in a magnificent palace!

You can really get lost on your runs
from one room to another!

Corgi Holly crossed Rainbow Bridge and
is now with all her former friends.

A short while ago Mommy’s friends lost
their furry friend Casey, a Border Collie.

Casey has joined her friend Jake.

After Mistress-Mommy found Casey’s photo,
she also saw Jake’s photo and told me
that Jake liked digging in the soil.
One day Jake almost succeeded in
digging a big hole by our mutual fence.

Mommy does not know if he wanted to find
or bury a bone or to cool off or
wanted to explore to see what was going
on at the other side of the fence.

She thought it was so hilarious that
she snapped this picture of him.

He-He-He, if you ask me,
I think Jake wanted to do all three!

What do you think about this mansion she
spotted on a trip a few years ago?

Is not it awesome Halloweenish?
Believe it or not, it was summer
when she shot that picture.

Mommy is busy getting the garden and patio
decorated for Halloween.
Each year she decorates a bit different
from the years before.
I found this 7 yr old picture and wondered
if the patio would look scary this year.

She just grinned and said:
“I can’t decorate too scary, because
we get a lot of wee kiddies calling.
I would not want the wee ones to cry.”
