This Sunday, May 15, 2016, many countries
around the world, will celebrate Pentecost.
Also known as Pentecost Sunday,
Whitsunday or Whit Sunday.
In Canada, this is not a national holiday
and celebrated only on Sunday.
Pentecost is a national holiday weekend in
The Netherlands and celebrated 2 days.
It’s called “Pinksteren”.
For the Dutch it is a welcome time to
celebrate with family and if possible
to visit the tulip festivity at Keukenhof
or to stay at a beloved Theme Park.

This quote and the quote here below,
blend well with the Christian observance
commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit
of Jesus Christ’s disciples.
“Horses lend us the wings we lack.”

The Dutch long weekend gives the folks
a chance to play with and ride the pony’s
in Pony Park City, Slagharen.
There is still time to make a reservation. :)

A pity, we are too far away!
However, we have the Mounties and their

Queen of England. :)

Have a Happy Pentecost wherever you are!
May Queen Elizabeth II, the entire royal family
and her Majesty’s entourage have a most
Blessed and Happy weekend!
“The ponies serenade the Pentecost celebration
While the angels dance in the sky
And the birds are chirping nearby.”
