Faraway in Flanders Field poppies grow
In many foreign countries Canada’s Soldiers rest deep below
The green foreign grass…
In sympathy a soft wind blows
But nature cannot erase the sorrows
Of a war’s past…
The Fallen Soldiers today are brought home
In a dignified ceremony
They are saluted and rest at home at last.
