Pear Harvest Recipe…
French Toast with Pears makes for a delightful
fall breakfast around this time of the year.
What you need:
Three eggs, one cup milk, pepper, salt, bread, butter,
canned sliced pears, whipped cream, optional.
Beat the eggs, add milk, pepper and salt.
Dip the bread slices in it.
Fry them in hot butter to a honey colour.
Heat the canned pear slices.
Before serving top the pear slice with
a bit of juice OR whipped cream.
Don’t like pears? Go with this delicious quote suggestion:
“Vegetables are a must on a diet.
I suggest carrot cake, zuchinni bread and pumpkin pie.”
~Jim Davis~
If you wish to serve less go for:
“Cookies are made of butter and love.”
~Norwegian Proverb~
Whatever it may be:
“Bon appetit!”
