Hullo Friends,
All is a bit boring at my LOOK-OUT today.
Mistress-Mommy calls it peaceful.
I like action!
It’s still dry, hot and humid and apart
from having met mostly friendly humans,
canines and run-away squirrels during
my walks this week, it has been uneventful.
The neighbours dogs and I long to dig
a few waterholes in the flower beds, but
the Masters and Mistresses forbid us
“to do such a thing”.
They threaten us with “severe punishment.”
Whatever that may be is a guess to me.
What I want to know is where is
their canine water-digging trust in us.
And why are humans allowed to dig holes
in Spring and Autumn?
Anyhoo… (my expression for anyhow)
that’s my beef for this week!

The many different ways
You have celebrated your birthdays.
Unfortunately we cannot race
To your enchanted studio-camping place
