The other day I told my humans,
I yearn to get a Pirate Crooked House
to entertain on Victoria Day
and watch the fireworks.
The mistress giggled and said:
“Shih Tzu mine,
find a bone of gold
and the crooked pirate house
will be thine.”
So I started digging in the garden.
Bad decision!
The mistress did not favor this.
She yelled:
“Walk the plank, matey!”
The lad was no help.
He almost choked when he said:
“Matey, if we ever win a lottery,
you may get your pirate wish.”
Now, I am betting on the young mistress.
Years ago she made a beautiful lawn sign.
Her Aunt painted the sign during her
vacation in Canada’s cottage country.
Looks great does not it!
When these two get together one day
I will coach them into making a crooked
Pirate House just for me.
Cheeky eh!
Wait… I have another thought!
What will they say if I ask for
a fancy doghouse?
I heard they are fun!
Ah well, there is always Christmas …
He-He-He Santa will not disappoint me!
Would he???
O no!
What’s that loud commotion in
the garden?
I have to run to my LOOK-OUT!
Well…well…
Two squirrels and a feline are meeting
head-on and a couple of birds are
chasing each other.
To top it off the neighbour’s
dogs are joining the concert.
Gee whiz, what a disturbance!
Luckily it’s time for a walk!
Home again and peace
seems to have returned.
The young mistress called.
She likes my pirate wish.
She could be my pirate
“good luck charm”.
The mistress found a pirate story
and shared a “Vampirate” quote:
“Well, if pirates are bad,
And vampirates are worse,
Then I pray that as long as I be
That though I sing of Vampirates
I never one shall see.
Yes, if pirates are danger
And vampires are death,
