Winter Poems

Last night I had a frightening dream
I was being chased by the ghost of halloween
Then taken captive by a cackling witch
Riding on a black cat with an eye twitch
And locked up in a haunted mansion.
The scary dream affair
Gave me a terrific scare
Till I told the story to a friend
“Hilarious” she giggled
Whereupon we both snickered.
