It’s only celebrated once a year
But we can make it Earth Day
Every single day
When we all work together
With Nature’s Earth Mother.

Get out your rake
The lawn needs a brake
The leaves are ready to rest
All winter they have done their very best
The trees and shrubs are sprouting new buds
Don’t forget to give them many hugs
Mother Earth will smile when you do
