This year (2016) Family Day in Ontario is
celebrated on February 15th.
Family Day is observed in Alberta, Manitoba,
Ontario, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.
On the 3rd Monday in February
many winter festivities take place in Ontario
to make Family Day a happy event.
If winter weather is too extreme it’s a fine day
to stay at home with family or friends and bake
“Moose Ears”
resembling a beaver tail.
President Obama liked “Beaver Tails”
very much during his visit to Ottawa in 2009.
