Dear Sister Els, Aunt Els…

It is said, mere mortals and pets
find Heaven
at the end of the rainbow where the
clouds gather in all their white glory,
and where in the midnight blue sky
the heavenly stars twinkle like diamonds.
May your light shine there forever and
may you feel extremely happy
and at peace.
On earth we will keep on loving and
missing you, while happy memories will
sustain all who have known and loved you.
White flowers in our gardens will remind us
of you and our beautiful Mamma and Oma,
as well as poppies remind us of the love
of our Pappa and Opa for his family,
wild and domestic animals,
birds and fauna.
Last but not least of all our dearly beloved
who will welcome you in their midst.
In the gardens birds sing their song
very early in the morning
and again before they retire in the evening.
