“On Friday the 13th nature defines me”,
said the black cat to his calico friend who was scratching his head.
Just because I have a shiny black fur coat, I am being told
I am from deep below the earth
where evil reigns.
Let me tell you, I have never ever been below the earth surface.
I don’t dig up a bone.
I am not a dog and I don’t like digging
or getting my paws or shiny coat dirty.
Do you???
“Not me”, replied the calico.
My mistress is pretty nice but occasionally scolds me, too.
She does not seem to understand that when it’s raining
the cars driving by splash on me,
making my white fur disgustingly muddy.
It takes me hours to clean my fur.
“He he, do like me,” said the Tabby,
on Friday the 13th hide in the mailbox.
For hours your humans will look for you.
They will spoil you when they finally find you.
“Great idea,” said the black cat,
that’s what I should do on Friday the 13th.
Pets need to feel extra special sometimes just like you,
says Tippy, the bubbling Shih Tzu!
If your black cat seems missing on Friday the 13th,
look if your cat is hiding in your mailbox.
Have fun and don’t feel scared on Friday the 13th,
it’s going to be another fine pet day!
