Friday’s Jewels
By

Sometimes I’m lucky and sometimes not.
In Europe many believe that keeping
a bunny will bring one luck.
Boy, do I need it!
A friend of mine had fun finding
a name game.
Typing the name of my site she got this verse:
G is for gentle, the nurturing side of you.
Y is for young, the years never show!
P is for please, the way you always do.
S is for serious, not always joking.
Y is for young, the years never show!
J is for joyful, the spirit you spread.
O is for outlook, pleasing to all.
Y is for young, the years never show!
WOW the “Y” is very promising I gasped.
Yeah, my friend said grinning, but according
to this site y`re a boy!
I checked and found the verse had changed
a bit and I was transformed into a girl.
Lucky me, “girl power” had stayed the same
and… there was a poster to save.
A fine gesture, I said to my friend as
I saved the poster in my special folder
and thanked her for the find.
I thought it was my lucky day, but when
I tried viewing the posture it read
that an error had occurred.
Bewitching spell, my friend giggled,
I think I better say farewell and she left!
So much for the cute freebie!
And so much for me as I didn’t know
how to rectify the so called “error”.
I tried it twice… same problem!
I wished for help upon a lucky star,
but I gave up as I did not come far.
Disappointed I played a word game.
The poster is too cute not to be posted here.
I may have more luck next time but,
for now, I am stuck!
May be I will find a good luck charm.
:) If I do you will be the first to know.
