Friday’s Jewels

Holy Friday…
God created the world to be
A Garden of Eden to find peace
Where we could spent time to rest
Be with family and friends
Enjoy the beauty of it all but somehow
It became the world’s downfall.
We seem not to understand
That disobedience was the end
Of peaceful living on earth
Even after God gave us the birth
Of His Son Jesus we still misjudge
The guilt of our doing we confess.
Troubled hearts pray for World Peace
On Good Friday many fall on their knees
While bowing their head in despair
And with tears in their eyes stare
At the crown and the nails at the cross
Weeping for Jesus, His Holy Mother’s
Tears and the World’s greatest loss.
God will never give up on us
Therefore we all should do our best
To remember that because of God’s Son
Whose blood and courage gave the pardon
A united world may recover with ease
The Garden of Eden’s intended peace.
