Happy Mother’s Day Around the World…

Hello World! It’s a Feast Day!

Don’t let the culprits and curmudgeons
take your precious moments away.

Unfortunately there will always be painful
and disturbing moments and memories for
all of us young and old.
Let it be told,
always, and forever to hold
onto life’s silver lining.
which is as precious as gold.

For “Mommy”  it’s a far away visit
to a Basilica Minor, standing tall and proud,
surrounded with sculptures and a statue.

Where throughout the ages millions
have come to pray,
and lit a candle on Mother’s Day.

Sorry, the above link is in Dutch only.

Here below a link in English!

It was not, too long ago,
that the Cathedral’s angels were restored
and a Mobile Angel added
to stand tall in rain, sun, wind and snow.

WOOF! Don’t take my word for it, see for yourself.

A while ago we found a very interesting
“homemade book” site
which we believe you really will enjoy.

“Mommy” and I like to end the day with
“Shadows” on the wall.

Fancy That!

Three little kiddies snuggled on the sofa
as they listen to the stories sitting tight,
till they go to bed at night.
Giggling and singing:
“Don’t let the Bedbugs Bite!”

“Shadows” on the wall!

Pretty funny Mommy! I see shadows on the table!

“That’s right Little Lion! ”

My Dad used to entertain us kids with shadows on the wall.”

“I arranged objects on this table to show shadows.” 🙂

I passed on this tradition to our children
when they were little, as I read to them
a bedtime story of their choice each night.

It was the best time of the day for all of us.

This site will certainly bring a smile to parents and their children.

Guys here  is my Dutch “Auntie” enjoying the tulip grandeur.

Keep in touch with the Dutch,
the Blog Muse aka “Mommy”
and little rascal “Woofie-Me”!

I have to go!

It’s time for a fun walk with the three Dalmatians!

Heartfelt thanks to Auntie for the cute photo

and to cousins Joop and Riet for the garden photo!

Last but not least with thanks to:
The Flower Parade Artists,
Performers, Visitors
and the Makers,
enjoy a bit of Keukenhof Love.
