If you travel to The Netherlands aka Holland,
be sure to visit the province of Noord Brabant.
While there travel to `s-Hertogenbosch,
for a visit to the St. Jan’s Cathedral
and Het Noord Brabant Museum.
Take in a boat ride, rent a bike to enjoy
a bit of the countryside or watch a performance
in or outside The Theatre.
Depending on the day and the season, there
is always something special to discover.
BTW `s-Hertogenbosch is aka Den Bosch.
This year (2016) the city is celebrating
the painter Hieronymus Bosch
aka Jheronimus or Jeroen (Jerome) Bosch,
who passed away 500 years ago.
Sunday is a special fine time to visit the
St. Jan’s Cathedral.
If you feel up to it, climb the 200+ steps
to the tower and take a peek at the city.
I heard, the city boasts having the largest
festivity costume store in the country.
Costumes are designed & made at the premises.

Jan de Groot
is a speciality bakery
where you can buy the famous
chocolate “Bosche Bol”.
Yummy for the tummy!
Cozy outdoor cafe`s and boutiques are everywhere.
See you there! In my dreams… :)
With thanks to the makers enjoy the festive
City of Hieronymus!
