Shih Poo Tales
*Little Lion*

Hullo Friends!

“The color of springtime is in the flowers.
The color of winter is in the imagination.”
~Terri Guillemets~

My imagination tells me that this winter
will be a “fabulous and splendid” winter
to have a snowball fight and build a
snowman and an igloo.

Why “fabulous”? Because…

“Mommy’s” website thought to be
not working last Tuesday was restored
quickly the other day by the Lad  Upstairs
who favours “Fabulous”.

Why “splendid”?  ‘Cause…

We got a new roof done by a firm
called “Splendid Roofing”.
The roof now is new again and looks shiny
and will be warmer and keep us cozy
and dry during the winter season. 🙂

Santa is arriving today, November 19th
in the City of Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

There will be a lot of visitors!
I am so-o-o-o excited!

In The Netherlands St. Nicholas arrived
in Amsterdam on Sunday, November 13,2016.

This reminds me of Dutch Auntie Greet,
who creates beautiful garden art,
sculptures, Tiffany and many paintings.

Recently she restored a broken Tiffany lamp.

The whole family is excited to see
how the second lamp will be restored.
Here below is the layout.

It’s a complicated and precise craft!

May be Aunt Greet will surprise me with
a Tiffany window for the BIG doghouse
on my Santa list. 🙂

I see the “Blog Muse” showing up.
She is grinning…
I guess she has a joke or a riddle for you.

The ice on the Christmas Cake for me
always seems to be a homemade gift.

There is nothing more

for me as something made
with a heart full of Christmas love
guiding the hands, kneading goodies and
crafting gifts for their loved ones.

“Apart from toys and a good book”,
my parents used to say.

With my parents in mind I thought about my
daughter or anyone interested in writing
who may love the following:

The above site is also a BIG PLUS for
anyone who loves homemade gifts and
handmade Christmas Cards.

That concludes it for today! 🙂
