On a morning like this I need a jester
to perk me up.
Together we could travel
the Great North to find some of the
5 million 2016 Canadian Lucky Loonies
on the loose in Canada!
The Rio Olympics,
the Royal Canadian Mint and
the great Canadian wildlife artist
Derek Wicks
made this happen.

and there she read all about it!

Did you know,
the Canadian Olympic Team received
the 2016 Lucky Loonie on arrival in Rio
and that a hidden Olympic Lucky Loonie
is hiding in the Olympic Swimming Pool?
Betcha, the whole world wants to get
their hands on Canada’s rare
Rio Olympic Lucky Loonie.
Now WE have to get our paws and hands
on the Rio Olympic loonies
before they are all taken by tourists
visiting Canada.
Wait a minute!
I have to run upstairs and tell the lad
I want to give a few 2016 Lucky Loonies
to the young mistress for her birthday!
Pfff… back again!
The lad is so-o-o COOL!
He promised to save quiet a few
Olympic 2016 Lucky Loonies for me
to surprise the young mistress.
Hey, the telephone is ringing!
It may be my Dutch cousin Djerull!
Yippee!!!
It’s the young mistress calling.
She wants to say “hullo” to me!
The young mistress is so-o-o funny!
She told me, she saw a squirrel sniffing
a “Chardon du Canada”!
He-He-He! A Canadian Field Thistle!
It must be a joke.
All they do at our place is chasing
wildly after each other.
Mommy says the young mistress story
must be true she is sending a picture.
Grrr-Grrrr-Grr!
It does not convince me!
Want to hear something funny!
While the lad and I played tug of war,
Mommy told the lad about a
Russian poo article.
She said:
“With the Poo fairy invading the web
with images and a Colorado video
it seems a Russian
sewage truck was also determined
on August 10,2016 to become
the center of attention world wide.
There is a video on You Tube titled:
Sewage Truck Explodes
sends poop water flying everywhere.”
I was about to explode with laughter
when the lad turned to Mommy and said:
“nice try Mom to let Little Lion win!”
A few minutes later there was
another call ringing in.
But the lad did not go for it!
He cried out to Mommy:
“the telephone is singing a melody!
Can’t pick it up…
can’t let this rascal win!”
Grr… Grrr… Grrrr…
A few seconds later the lad gave up
claiming he was much too busy.
He declared me the W I N N E R!
Mommy’s leg and knee are on the mend.
She can move around better and walked
me a bit on a couple of days this week.
I hope when Mommy is better again,
that the lad will not skip
the very late night strolls.
I must teach that fast hopping rabbit
a lesson. He keeps teasing me!
Mommy just finished browsing the artist’s
website and found out about the artist’s
teaching videos and learned about
his handsome dog and how to compose
a brilliant photo.
