Sunday was given to us
As a day of well-earned rest
A day to relax in or out of town
Wearing your best suit or frilly gown.
Meeting friends and family on Sunday
Makes for a truly happy day
As the new week is on its way
It’s time to relax before it’s Monday.
In our present troubled time throughout the world let us not forget that goodness will continue to trump the world’s ugliness.
