To Be or not to Be!

The month of April
is each year dedicated to any kind and length of poetry throughout the world.
In Canada
the poetic month is geared to Canada’s youth.
Although a lofty mission
we can learn from our poetic USA friends on how to enhance our two national poetic websites.
Thereby attracting poets of all ages during this special poetic month of the year.
A pity! Canada can only boast a start from 2001 on.
In the U.S.A.
the start was made as early as 1996.
In North America each year a special poster has been designed for this occasion.
In the USA the importance on enriching the role that “letter writing” has played in the lives of poets is accentuated this year.
Their poster for 2013 has been designed by graphic artist Jessica Helfand.
The USA comprehensive Poets website link suggests 30 ways of celebrating the art of poetry and also suggests
everyone writes a poem each day in April.
The site provides a lot of information about poets and more.

A sweet hint!
If you are not into poetry just keep on reading a book of your choice
throughout the special literature month of the year.
Even this feline seems to be bitten by the reading bug!
