We love to be with thee
It’s peaceful to chat and play
Beneath the twinkling lights each day.
At night we sing a Christmas song
Young and old hum along
The dog, the cat and the parakeet
Keep everyone entertained and sweet.
Under the mistletoe
We all blow
Lots of good-night kisses
And catch them without any misses.
O how I wish it would be clear
That Christmas days are here
To teach the world that peace
Is earth’s natural survival breeze.
