Out Fishing…

A Magic “Fisherman’s” Poem

from the 2012 “Canadian Magic Poems.”

By Gypsy Joy

 On rainy days

The little kid in me

Lights up the place, matey!

Yelled he.

His spouse looked up

While his sniffing dog looked down.

Matey, she said happily, I am ready

Let’s paint the town!

That’s what I wish

I could really do

But first I must catch a magic fish my sweetie…

So off to the lake I must go!
