The Magic of the Easter Bunny
and the three Mouseketeers…
A Canadian Easter Hunt Tale
and Sing-a-Long by Gypsy Joy.
Once in a blue moon there will be snow,
freezing rain and ice pellets flying
around on Easter, said a sweet mouse to
the Easter Bunny looking out of her window.
Tell me! Sighed the Easter Bunny.
What am I going to do on Easter Monday?
Feeling sad, the Easter Bunny closed her
window and continued painting the last
badge of her pretty painted easter eggs,
ready to be hidden in the fields nearby
for the children and their pets to hunt
on Easter Monday.
All of a sudden there was a knock-knock
on the Easter Bunny’s cottage door.
The Easter Bunny wondered who was knocking
early on Easter Monday morning and asked,
who’s there?
We are the Wise Mouseketeers, answered
one of the knockers on the door.
Once in a blue moon we visit a bunny.
Please open the door we need your help.
The Easter Bunny quickly opened the door.
Seated at the table the Mouseketeers told
the Easter Bunny about their plan, to
create a magnetic shield in the field,
to pull Frosty-the-Snowman to the coach.
Frosty has lost his way, the mice said.
A sing-a-long will chase the icy weather
and Frosty-the-Snowman back to the arctic.
Will you help us Easter Bunny?
We will get our Cinderella Ice Coach.
You can hide the pretty easter eggs,
while we sing our powerful sing-a-long
and you sing the refrain with us.
The sing-a-long rhyme can only be powerful
If the refrain is sung 5 times by a bunny.
While riding in the ice coach to the fields,
we start off singing the refrain.
The magic of the refrain will blow
Frosty to where we are in the fields.
We get Frosty into our Ice Coach and
bring him safely to his arctic home.
The Easter Bunny very excited agreed.
Immediately they all stepped into the
Ice Coach and went on their way,
clapping their hands and stamping
their tiny feet, singing happily.
All together now…
Fiddle Diddle ho-ho-ho
This is not a gimmick no-no-no!
Here comes the sun
Ho-Ho-Ho
Away you go
Snowman boy
To the Arctic now.
All together now…
Fiddle Diddle ho-ho-ho
This is not a gimmick no-no-no!
Run-Run-Run
Ho-Ho-Ho
Away you go
Snowman boy
Run to the Arctic now.
All together now…
Fiddle Diddle ho-ho-ho
This is not a gimmick no-no-no!
We the three
Mouseketeers
We guide you wise
Snowman boy
Run to the Arctic now.
All together now…

Hop in our coach
It’s made of ice
You will not melt be wise
Snowman boy
Time to run to the Arctic now.
All together now…
Fiddle Diddle ho-ho-ho
This is not a gimmick no-no-no!
After they had sung the 5th refrain.
low and behold, in a big snowy whirl
who would appear
Frosty-the-Snowman dear!
The Easter Bunny exclaimed in surprise
Wow the Mouseketeers are truly wise
What a whirly gusty snowy blow
Off to the Artic, there they go!
Immediately,
the sun came out of the clouds
and slowly but steadily the icy mess
disappeared and the children and pets
came dancing to the fields to hunt the
Easter Bunny’s shimmering Easter eggs.
They never looked so sparkling before.
The Easter Bunny felt very happy, indeed!
