A Tale in Rhyme from the 2013 “Merry Holiday Poems and Tales”

The year Two Thousand Thirteen might

Have been called the year of Epiphany fright

Were it not for the tips of two rabbits who found

On Epiphany Eve three Fathers frantically looking around

They were missing their little Wise Kings

A puppy,  and some Epiphany play things. 

Just busy with the Epiphany rehearse

Giggled the three when hearing of their parent’s search

When the Eastern Star shines bright

We will walk to the Market Square with our lanterns alight

And arrive at the nativity scene in style

Singing the Epiphany song and Baby Jesus will smile.
