Don’t you just love watching your kids or grandkids making mud pies or being invited to a “high tea” in the sandbox your husband made? Just looking at them on a sunny day being perfectly happy as they let the sand stream through their tiny fingers like a fascinating waterfall, makes you run to get your camera.
Even birds, dogs, cats and squirrels are curious to find out what the kids are doing in that huge “litterbox”. The critters always seem to get startled why they are being shooed away from that large sandy box. No problem for the dog, he will just walk away and have fun digging up his bone.
It’s a good idea to cover the sandbox at night so no critters can litter and make it their own.
Making mud pies and sand castles in the sandbox,
a snowman in the winter,
or sand sculptures in the summer is a lot of fun.
The best thing at the beach is that you can dive into the water to get clean and to cool off.
What is very pleasant, too, is to be able to view sand sculptures at a beach
and making a sculpture yourself while you are on vacation.
