Hullo Friends & Fans Old and New!

LOL!

I am dreaming of Spring so let’s
ring in
the 2017 Chinese Year with a
Parasol Dance.

“Mistress-Mommy”, my playmates and I
love celebrating joyful tidings.

He-He-He “Who does not?”
For the answer,
scroll to the bottom of this post!

Where is Achie Jedi Lim?
Who danced in “Parasol Dance” in 2016.

Anyone who knows please pass this on…

“Achie Jedi Lim we are calling you to tell:
Your wish has come true!”

Sorry, You Tube spoiled our log-in to
leave a message for you.
Even with Google’s help we were not able
to leave a like for you as we were
unable to sign into our account.

At the end “Mommy” just gave up.

Anyhow, the “Blog Muse” and I, enjoyed
your Authentic Parasol Dance very much!

Woof… Woof!

Black_puppy_walks

It gave me, Little Lion, a fine idea.

I wanted to buy a parasol for “Mommy”
and the young mistress, but since it
will take too long to save for it,
I put on my thinking cap
and this idea popped up in my head.

Paw

Paint A PAW PRINT on an old umbrella!

Would not it make a neat parasol
 for a stroll
with a human’s best friend?

I called the young mistress.
She grinned as she said:

“A great umbrella embellishing idea”
“it may make you “Parasol” famous!”

I don’t know how it’s at your place,
but the “itsy-bitsy” left-over snow
after all the rain and fog,

itsy_bitsy_snow

made us want to cozy up in a nook
to read a new or old book.

While searching, the Blog Muse found
a Victorian story, titled

“Boy in the Clockwork Web”
by
Toronto teacher Nelson Boon.

https://www.amazon.com/Nelson-Boon/e/B013CW32RU/ref=ntt_dp_epwbk_0

It’s the 2nd book in the Clockwork series
and has received raving reviews.

Set in the Victorian period it reminded
Mommy of another fantastic book:

“Oliver Twist” by
The Legendary Nonesuch Dickens.

On the weekend of Mommy’s birthday, Mommy
discovered a “St.Nicholas” book
in the “Young Mistress” Book Collection
with marvellous drawings, poems and
doll stories selected from St.Nicholas Magazine
by William C. Carroll, titled:

“Stories of Little Girls and their Dolls”

Classics of an Age of Remembered Joy.

“Mistress-Mommy” is reading a
“St.Nicholas” story
and a poem everyday this week.

She loves the black and white drawings
of the beautiful dolls and the children.

Mommy keeps repeating:

“There are so-o-o many fabulous drawings,
it’s a joy to look at them”.

She fondly remembers the play and
tea-times
with her sisters and friends.
As well as her children’s happy tea-times
with their little friends.

I wonder when she is going to throw
a tea party for me and my playmates.

Here comes the Lad guys!
Time for a walk and to bid you farewell.

Have a wonderful weekend!
See you next Saturday!

Remember:

Parasols are great fun
to show off in the sun.
Even in the winter
They may glitter
on Twitter!

Answer to: “Who does not?” by Little Lion
“A Curmudgeon!”

Who is a curmudgeon?
A grumpy person!

Photo’s as always by yours truly.

With thanks to everyone for the animations
and the parasol dancers and maker
Achie Ledi Lim
for today’s enjoyment!
