Shih Poo Tales

Hullo Friends!

On the above photo I am trying to wake up
my puppy playmate for a bath this morning
in Mistress-Mommy’s washing machine.
He-He-He just like you and me this puppy
needs a regular bath. :)

The other day on a stroll I pulled very hard
to get fast to a grassy place I wanted
to check out the day before, but I got
distracted by spooky eyes
and a squeaky door.

Mistress-Mommy kept pulling me along.
Next she had me sit down on the sidewalk
to calm me down, she said.

It was so-o-o embarassing!
Grrrrr…

Anyhoo… (my expression for anyhow),
I told Mommy today, I just want to go
“from here to there or anywhere” and find out
what was the thingy in the grass
I missed the other day.

“Okay, I hope it’s not a spider,” she said,
“you know that I don’t like you
to swallow them.”

To make a long story short:
Whatever was hidden in the grass yesterday
was not there today.

The sun is shining. There is not much
going on in the garden.
So I am staying near Mommy while my
Smurf is having fun at the LOOK-OUT.

We are looking at pictures and a story
about The Great FOGO Island Punt Race
to There and Back.

The lad drove Mommy and her sister some
years ago to Newfoundland.
They are still in awe about the icebergs.

He-he-he…
I wonder if Djerull in The Netherlands

and Bo Obama in the White House in the USA

know about Canada’s iceberg finder.

This weekend we have a long weekend.
It’s Thanksgiving weekend and pumpkins
are popping up everywhere.

Oh… No-o-o!
There seems to be a commotion outside.
I have to run to the LOOK-OUT!
See you soon!

Aha! Little Lion is giving me a chance
to tell you something about the
Newfoundland
ponies and the Ponysanctuary at
Change Islands.

They feature a nice quote on the site:
A dog may be man’s best friend, but
the horse wrote history.
~Author Unknown~

Well, the dog wrote history, too, as both,
the horse and dog have earned fame
in their contribution to the world
in agriculture, war and peace time.
Even today we cannot do without both.

It’s a happy thought to know that
Change Islands has a pony sanctuary.

Enjoy the ponies, especially Kate,
the pony storyteller.

Hi, I am back!

I see Mommy Blog-Muse
told you about the Newfoundland ponies,
they are beautiful and their numbers
are steadily increasing, which is good.

Mare Kate even writes a blog, but it’s
strange that Kate has not written since
sometime in 2014! That’s 2 years ago.
So we wonder what happened to Kate.
Mommy has sent a request to become a member,
this way she hopes to find out what
happened to Kate and her blog writings.

I think it’s very neat that ponies also
like to blog about their humans and
playmates & tell about their adventures.

I like Pegasus!

I have been searching for Halloween stories.

boo_mailbox

This link has many illustrated stories:

http://www.magickeys.com/books/

for kids of all ages and one has a Halloween
story about a girl named Suzie who has
a tiny dog and a Dollar store Teddybear
and lives in a Halloween House!

Imagine that!!!

Hey, the phone is ringing!

WOW!!!

It’s the young mistress to tell us that
a friend named a newborn kitten Suzy
and another one Henry.
Recently another friend called his newest
classical car Suzy as well.

I wish “our Suzy” could be celebrating
Thanksgiving and Halloween with us.
It would be so-o-o much fun for us!
Empress Zoe Labrador and I would have
a fun time keeping the felines running.
They are always trying to sneak up on us.

Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
