The other day Mistress-Mommy aka MM
said to me:
“Little Rascal,
you have got the world on a string.”

I just stared at her and then I did
my footie-dance.
MM can be so-o-o funny, but so can I.  :)

I can appear and disappear as by magic!

Anyhoo… (my invention for anyhow)
Mommy explained to me, that I remind
her of the Empress of Jazz

Ella Fitzgerald

and her quote,
“I sing like I feel.”

As well the famous singer’s song:

“I’ve Got The World On A String”.

Woof… MM is right!
I am ready for any challenge.
Action please! :)

The Lad Upstairs and I are “Eco-cleaning”
the areas where we are walking.

Gee, we have cleaned a lot of territory.
I have been at places I never walked
before with Mistress-Mommy.

It is a real adventure,
especially when the moon shines.
I don’t know why, but that’s when we
find the most McDonald discards.

If you ask me,
the black cat in the moon is the culprit!

Mistress-Mommy does not pick-up any mess
when we walk, only tree branches.
She carefully puts them on the
boulevard, so they are out of the way.

On the day after garbage day she often
rescues a garbage can that lies on the road.

“That’s as far as I go picking up stuff”
she told the lad, “with the exception of
rescuing a statue that was destined
to be crushed by the garbage truck.
It only needed to have the groom’s head
and hat to be glued onto the body.”

“It really was too sweet a couple to
be discarded and crumpled to ashes.”

I fully agree with Mommy, don’t you?

We love it and so do Mommy’s friends.
MM says, “if the original owners want it,
they can ring the door bell and take
it home but not without asking.
After all, it was discarded and I gave
it a new lease on life in our garden!”

MM can be a tough gal at times.  :)

This weekend it’s Labour Day.
Time flies even when the days of summer
are long and extremely hot!

But the lad and I had a lot of summer fun.
It’s a pity he will be away this weekend.
I could probably come with him but who
will be on the LOOK-OUT here!
Where I go, my play-friends go, too,
and Mistress-Mommy would be all alone.

I have decided to keep her company :)
so my musical playmate and I
can keep Mommy entertained when
she is home alone!
