National Poetry Month…
April 2013 is almost passé…
National Poetry Month
is once again history and will not be around for another year. It has been an overwhelming experience for me and I am happy that I really made my poetic vow come true. In the month of April I wrote 30 small, medium and large poems. Including the titles, a total of appr. 2,120 rhyme words rolled out of my creative mind, accompanied by 90 pics to make the postings visually attractive.
No one can outdo
Shakespeare or Dr. Seuss
or many other poets we look up to. However, if the two of them were curious enough to fly around the globe in 2013 and peeked in on all who were writing verse after verse during National Poetry Month, they must have been amused and very pleased at the effort of so many poetry-spirited earthlings.
I will be looking forward to what next year’s National Poetry Month will inspire me to write about.
