The other day a few friends asked me do I write the playwrights, poems, stories, tales and quotations myself and what about the photos or gifs. Do I shoot the photos pictured on my blog as well? What about the videos, gardening and crafts. Do I play my guitar by a fire at a camp site? Do I ride a horse?
Do I always write as gypsyjoy?
And the most important question: do I travel the world in a gypsy van?
Hmmm…
Many questions need an answer, but I am happy to oblige and a bit flattered as well.
Let’s start with the 2 last questions…
I use different pseudonyms; gypsyjoy is one of them.
Yes, I travel the world in a gypsy van but only in my imagination. I ride on my colorful Gypsy Vanner and the most beautiful Arabian Horse only in my wildest dreams. It’s there that at a campfire I am the best minstrel playing the nicest and softest tunes about my adventures.
Most of my tales,
playwrites and poems on my website as well as the blog, are typed late at night when the Man in the Moon shines his silvery moonlight on Mother Earth and conceived during my garden chores when the sunbeams warm my heart and the flowers are happily swaying back and forth in a gentle breeze. At other times someone may utter a word or show me something that stirs my imagination, or I may read a sentence in a book that grabs my fantasy. In wintertime I may get carried away by the Snow Queen and the sparkling snowflakes or by the fireplace, songs and shows featured on my TV or radio.

NO, I don’t have any videos created by me at present. If you watch the videos you will notice they are not mine, although I do have a YouTube video channel with favorites for YouTube friends and visitors to enjoy. At present ALL CREDIT goes to the makers of the videos.

I write and post all there is on my blog and should I get stuck with a computer problem, I ask my son or daughter to assist me to get me out of the mess I am in.
Last but not least…
YES, I do the gardening, as well as different crafts which I design and craft. I have embroidered paintings in the past but not designed. I do and have done in the past other needle work as well as designed and crafted wallhangings and other handmade items. I also have designed and look after our gardens and have done some illustrating but no paintings with the exception of a painting by number. I am actually proud of the latter because I made it for our daughter’s nursery about half a year before she was born. Thereafter it graced our hallway for awhile. When our daughter moved away the painting found a spot in her home.
