The jolly elf described by TV producer Jonathan Meath in 2011 as
“the only cultural icon who’s male”
could well have been among the 28,112 Santa’s of
Thrissur, Kerala, India in 2014.
As India holds the record of the largest
Santa gathering held on the 27th of December 2014.

Two Candy Cane Thoughts…

Could Santa have been the leader of the Santa’s in India?

Could Santa be the reason that the “Guinness World Records” book,
first published in 1955-present,
is the most published and sought after book that is stolen each year
from the American public libraries?

May be NOT!

While entertaining myself with the Santa records on Wiki I noticed
that Kyrgyzstan in Russia named a mountain peak after Santa.
So I googled to find out more.
I did not learn much about Santa’s mountain, but lo and behold
Kyrgyzstan celebrated on November 26th the birth of
baby girl Aylin of Osh
the country’s 6th million citizen.

Aylin’s happy parents and their 6th bundle of joy
and all born on that November day!

My personal opinion:
A positive note among all that’s happening these days!
