Valentine’s Day

Good memories are not just a pleasure for the heart.
Good memories and faith
sustain one gently through the days of discomfort.
So do scrumptious desserts!
Don’t we all gorge on a bowl of icecream
or baked goodies when things go right or wrong?
With fond memories of the past I think back to my youth.
Our Dad passed away at the age of 38 during the
liberation of The Netherlands.
Because Mom talked about our Dad all the time,
our Dad seemed always to be with us.
Our dining table was our art, games, homework, reading, knitting
& sewing table, as well as “happy times” with our Mom.
I fondly remember when Mom said one day:
“let’s make these pretty tiny scrumptious chocolate pots today”.
By serendipity I found Karma’s delicious
“chocolate pots de creme” recipe yesterday.
It brought back many happy memories of my youth.
I hope you all may enjoy it, too.
Would not it make a mouthwatering dessert
and a Valentine to remember forever,
if you plan to make it with your children? :)
Thank you Lady Karma!
