Winter season came and has gone,
visions of green fields and flowers danced in our head, winter was done.
That’s what we thought,
but as we smiled at each other spring brought us snowy shivers and drought.
Visions of sunshine and flowers are still filling our heads,
but spring is spinning a different thread.
We shiver and feel a tad low as we sit by the fire , you see,
we had hoped on sunshine and a dandy fine spring barbeque.
Instead, the snow vision we saw did not feel so good,
when spring has sprung King Winter should not stay put.
