Sean the Leprechaun…
Once there was a Leprechaun
His name was Sean
It’s being told
That he loved all that was gold.
It was they say
On St. Paddy’s day
That he strolled through a meadow
And his eye caught a golden glow.
When he heard music
His curiosity reached its peak
He danced from here to there
But did not find gold anywhere.
He became very very mad
It was really sad
To see him stamping his tiny feet
Trampling the grass beneath.
A fieldmouse ran quickly away
But a caterpillar had his laugh of the day
It made the leprechaun shake his fist
And Hula Hoop dancers nearby joyfully twist.

An elf brings luck they say
Should you spot a wee one on your way
And the two of you would like to play
