Garden Bedtime Tales
By
Gypsy Joy.
Once upon a time
two children sitting on a country garden hill
wished the clouds would change at will.
A master magician pond fish
overhearing this said he could grant their wish.
Spinning his fish dish the clouds changed in a twitch.
The children giggled with delight.
Till they set their minds on a Bunny Cloud…
That’s when all their cloud wishes went wrong.
Their first bunny cloud wish showed no clouds at all.
They liked the Christmas bunnies in the snow.
But it was not what they had wished for.
“Sorry,” said the master magician pond fish,
“just wish harder and close your eyes very tight
and it will be all right.”
The children both closed their eyes tightly, waited…
made their wish and then looked at the sky.
They almost tumbled off the hill gazing at the 7 babies in the sky.
The two would have rolled into the
pond
but happily just than a garden fairy flew by.
The fairy asked the boy and girl:
“What’s happening here?”
The boy and girl told her about the wish granted by the master magician pond fish
and how all went wrong when they wished for a bunny cloud.
The fairy studied the cloud with the seven babies on it
and at once noticed the tiny bunny, and smiled.
“Try again,” she told the children.
“This time make a bunny wish for the babies.”
The children did exactly as told.
Low and behold, when they looked up at the sky
there were soooo many bunnies in the clouds
they lost their bunny count many times.
Laughing loud they turned around to thank the garden fairy.
Alas, the fairy and the master magician pond fish had disappeared.
Instead two little bunnies had joined them on the hill.
Good Night… Sleep Tight!
