There once was a young fiddler who with a flick of the wrist could make anyone twist.

On a sunny wintry day he went to a park and sat down for a while on a bench beneath a mighty Conifer and watched a few squirrels being pulled on a sled.

It was such a lovely sight that he started to play on his violin.

Sudddenly he stopped playing and while wandering away he kicked the evergreen.

The young fiddler was not prepared for what happened next and uttered a loud cry. His wee foot was held captive by the mighty Conifer. In the meantime passersby stopped to see what the commotion was all about. This made the young fiddler so nervous that he started to play his violin so he would not hear their comments and questions.

He played one snappy song after another and soon everyone forgot why they had stopped by the evergreen and hummed and twisted along. Even the young fiddler himself forgot why he had gone to the park and why he had kicked the Conifer. The mighty evergreen looking down on all the swinging and twisting below him found it difficult to keep his composure and slowly the mighty Conifer started moving his needle branches up and down, left and right and back and fro.

All of a sudden the mighty Conifer bursted out laughing and the young fiddler felt a jolt and his foot came free from the evergreen tree.

Quick as a flash the young fiddler

dashed away from the Conifer and fiddled and twisted his way through the crowd out of the park as fast as he could.
