Fly Mobile Angel Fly!
Where else could one come up with such an
imaginative idea but in the city of
‘s-Hertogenbosch in The Netherlands.
It’s there were Hieronymus Bosch,
oversees the Market Square and where this
year his 500 year departure is celebrated.
The mobile angel stands proudly on top of
the St. Jan’s Cathedral making sure
all is right in the beautiful capital
of the province of North Brabant.
The mobile angel can be called as well.
There are two telephone lines to connect.
Its my understanding one is answered
and paid for by a lady who likes to stay
unidentified and the other is paid by the
diocese of the St. Jan’s Cathedral to offset some
of the costs for the upkeep of the Cathedral.
Both ways are a heavenly experience
and a worthy cause.
In 2012, John Tagliabue wrote an article
about the Dutch Mobile Angel.
The article may also be purchased.
The Dutch mobile angel is on the way to
become as famous as
Hieronymus aka Jheronimus or Jeroen Bosch
and Jan de Groot’s “Bosche bol”.
The Bosche angel story is my contribution
today, Tuesday March 8th, 2016,
in honour of International Women’s Day.
Have a fantastic Women’s Day Ladies.
Take time to reflect on your achievements.
Mobile Angel…
May your mobile keep ringing!
Tune in for more Angel stories
on Wednesdays!
With thanks to the makers enjoy:
