Jolly Bear’s
New Year’s Play

Santa and his reindeer
had returned home to the North Pole.
Before his return,
Santa carrying his beloved Teddy in his arm introduced a sweet Mom and Baby Polar Bear
to join the Jolly Bear and his friends in the parlour.
The Christmas Clan was thrilled meeting the newcomers
and the Polar Bear Mom and Baby felt the same.
Together they had written a few short New Year’s songs.
They felt very proud. Feeling happy they seated beneath
the lit Christmas Tree and waited for Jolly Bear to ring
the Christmas Bell to start the New Year’s performance.
But where was Jolly Bear???
They waited, and waited, and waited a bit more. At last they
started to get so worried all of them began to talk at once.
It was then that the Jolly Bear made his entrance.
After having explained why he was so late everyone was happy that it had not been due to a serious issue…
but simply because Jolly Bear had fallen asleep.
They all had a good laugh.
The Parlour was their stage.
Jolly Bear bowed to all the Christmas
decorations in the room. After having introduced Mom and
Baby Polar Bear the musical play began.
Jolly Bear played the Christmas songs on his violin as the choir sung
on the background and the lead singer danced around.
All of a sudden they heard a very tiny voice crying out for help.
They all stopped talking and looked around.
Finally they dimmed the Christmas lights in the Christmas tree and Polar Bear Mom
discovered that the tiny voice came from
the Big Red Apple
hovering above the Christmas Angel in the Christmas Tree!
The voice in the big red apple kept on repeating:
“Let me out!
I will shout all through your play and nobody will hear what you say!”
“Okay”, grinned Jolly Bear, who was always in a good mood. “But I must say, you are not in a very nice mood.”
“I am not supposed to be in a nice mood”, replied the red apple, I am
the apple from the Snow White story.
If you don’t let me out of here very quick, you will see what I can do to all of you.”
“We know what you can do and we do not trust you, so out you go”, said Jolly Bear. He opened very quickly the window to let the winter storm blow the red apple to his destination.
Where that was no one knew and no one in the room wished to know.
They were happy the big red apple was no longer in their Christmas Tree. The other red apples felt the same and whispered that they had not trusted that big red apple since its arrival.
Polar Bear Mom and Baby wanted to know the story of Snow White. So they all decided to sing a few more songs and watch “Disney’s Yodel Song”.
With thanks to the video makers, enjoy
Disney’s Snow White!
May you all have a very
Healthy, Happy and Prosperous New Year!
See you All in 2016!
