A Day to Remember
It’s a swinging singing Holy day
‘Cause it’s St. Nicholas Day
In many a country Dutch children celebrate
They sing “Sinterklaas” songs with their playmate.
They eat lots of St. Nicholas treats
And other Dutch speciality eats
As they dance and sing a song of joy
They find pleasure creating or playing with a new toy.
The goodies and toys have been delivered to the Girls and Boys
The time has come to say:
Thank You “Sinterklaas and Pieterbaas”
Please come back with your handsome white steed
And visit us again next year in peace.
