Holiday Poems from the 2012 “Merry Christmas Poems and Tales”

It was on a wintry boxing day
When five Christmas Cats
Decided to rent a sleigh
And hire two Coach-Rats.
The Christmas Cats offered the
Coach-Rats a sip of their holiday potion
Which caused misunderstanding and a huge commotion
And brought on angry talk and subsequently delay
For the Chrismas Cats waiting in the sleigh.
After much talk with the Coach-Rats and apologies
All parties agreed and there was peace
And off they went for a ride in the sleigh
With the Christmas Cats imitating a horse’s neigh.
