A Fairy Tale to Commemorate the Longest Day in Februari…
By
Gypsy Joy.
It’s whispered along the stately Canadian houses of now and long ago, that during the Great Blizzard of 1899 referred to as
“The Snow King”
about which you may learn more on:

The tiniest, most glamorous and shimmering
Canadian Ice Fairies of the regime of
“The Snow King”
took up residence, in the heart of Montreal in the romantic Canadian province of Quebec. They hide in the lush growth covering the French-Canadian stately houses during the Spring, Summer and Autumn seasons.
The tiny
Ice Fairies
residences are hidden among the majestic leaves to keep their wings icy cool till
“The Snow King”
arrives. Then during a winter blizzard they make the grand old and new buildings, barns, churches, farms, inns, boulevards, gardens, fields, parks, houses of the rich and not so rich, sheds, trees, shrubs, street lights, snowy and icy roads and highways throughout Canada, come alive shimmering like the most brilliant gems set in silver and gold.
When the rays of the winter sun sparkle playfully, and gently on the wings of the lovely
Canadian Ice Fairies
playing hide and seek everywhere among the winter icecickles, and blizzard rubble left by
“The Snow King”
in the snowy, slushy and icy surroundings
“Mere Mortals”
like you and me, wonder and glance around in amazement at the wonders of nature.
In disbelieve grown-ups and children’s eyes mirage the blizzard’s wonder of winter. As our hearts are struck by the sparkle of it all, most of us will forget quickly the earlier destruction caused by
“The Snow King”.
Although, young and old, will be sadly reminded about the winter blizzard again during the clean-up in the coming days, and in the spring season.
Such is the diverse bewitching beauty of nature during the snowy season in Canada of which
“The Snow King”
reigns before, during and the aftermath of a severe Canadian winter blizzard day and/or night. Though the tiny
Canadian Ice Fairies
live among us, it’s a pity no Canadian, Permanent Resident or Visitor may ever enjoy a close encounter with the tiniest and loveliest
Ice Fairies
in the whole wide world . They cannot be detected even by the magic lens of the mighty innovative camera.
But then,
you can never be sure, sometimes a
fairy
may just fly by!
Enjoy, too, a flight above a park.
Now where would that be?
I can’t disclose this secret, but perhap you know!
