Halloween

There once was a wee old witch
Who got lost in the rain and mist
Which made her nose terribly twitch.
She cackled over and over again
It will be this awful rain
Making my twisting talk go down the drain.
Just then a wee ghost flew by
Looking at the sneezing witch he giggled my
Hop on my broom and together we shall fly.
The wee old witch thought for a while
She looked at the little ghost with a sneaky smile
And groaned: ” just for a wee mile.”
The wee ghost always full of zest
Cheerfully grinned it may be more or less
And it will give you some rest.
I don’t need rest I need to twist cackled the witch
Fine giggled the wee jolly ghost I am all for it
If it will make you fit.
So for what seems a very long while
They twisted more than a mile
And parted with a big smile.
The wee jolly ghost talked the wee old twisting witch
Into a Halloween dress-up switch
On Halloween they both had a twisting laughing fit.
Enjoy a ghostly funny party!
