Shih Poo Tales

Hello Friends,
As you know Mistress-Mommy is also known as
“Blog Muse”.
It will be “Indian Summer” soon so we
decided to share Story Book space
till Mommy-Muse explores the
Christmas Season.
Let’s start with a funny canine quote!
Handle Stressful situations like a dog.
If you can’t eat it or play with it,
pee on it and walk away.
~Anonymous~
He-He-He! I like this anonymous guy.
While walking through a cat-walk recently
to cross through a park on our way home
from our afternoon walk, a gentleman
repairing the cat-walk asked Mommy what is
the world’s friendliest pooch’s name.
When Mistress-Mommy told him, he stroked me
and grinned: “Tippy, eh!
People called my father-in-law Tipsy.”
Reminds me of the groovy New Year’s cat!
Mommy told the gentleman, that my first
Mistress-Mommy called me Tippy
after the U.S. Athlete, Head Coach,
Basketball, Football Director and player,
Tippy Dye
who was famous in his days.
When we came home Mommy said:
“Tippy, I must check Wiki again for the
info on Mr. Tippy Dye.
I remember there was something I wanted to
check out that has to do with a canoe.”
I rolled over the carpet back and forth
as if I was paddling a canoe and
the lad was paddling on a lake.
But Mommy-Muse was too busy to notice.
Anyhoo… (my expression for anyhow)
she found what she was looking for on:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tippy_Dye
and told me, that Mr. Dye passed away
when I was almost 5-1/2 months old.
We both share special birthdays. :)
Mr. Dye was born on April Fool’s Day
and I am born on Halloween Day.
Mark the day friends!
I will be 5 years on Halloween,
October 31, 2016 :)
Mr. Dye’s nickname “Tippy” is an abbreviation
of the 9th U.S. Pres. William Henry Harrison’s
1840 campaign name “Tippecanoe.”
Cool name eh!
It tickles my funny bone!
I am going upstairs to visit the lad
so Mommy can have your attention. :)
Hullo Friends,
Long time no see. :)
A happy go lucky expression
to bring a smile.
Every time you smile at someone,
it is an action of love,
a gift to that person,
a beautiful thing.
~Mother Teresa~
So, too, are the encouraging, sincere
and wise quotes by Mother Teresa.
Mother Teresa’s quotes never fail to
brighten occasions in one’s life
lifting one’s eyes up to heaven
in search of tranquility and peace.
I have to make it short today because
I hear little lion rushing down the stairs.
I guess he cannot bear to be away from you. :)
See you next time friends!
Keep Smiling!

Hey Mommy where is my quote?
O, I found it!
“Life is an adventure, dare it.”

Time for a daring adventure soon, but
first I have to check my LOOK-OUT! Aha!
Just in time I spot a critter on the fence.
Grr.. Grrr… Grrrr….
No trespassing here fella!
Here comes the lad with the Flexi leash
so I can dash around.
Off we go Friends.
Enjoy a special Dutch treat about the Bible
and Noah’s Ark! :)
We can’t get away from the Dutch, Djerull! :)
Stay cool friends and be happy!
Tune in again next Saturday!
