I feel lonely in this farmhouse
Sighed Trixy the field mouse
I wish I lived in a city house.

Suddenly she heard a tiny
Voice whispering softly
Switch on the light field mouse
It’s too dark in the farmhouse.

Surprised Trixy looked around
And said my little eye spots
A wee mousie, a talking teapot
And a teacup painted with dots.

Don’t mind us, said the teapot
It’s this wee mouse I worry about
We are made of Polymer clay
And in this farmhouse on display.

Only at night
We are chatting slight
Why don’t you like this farmhouse
You’re lucky to live here field mouse.

I don’t know what’s up
With this wee clay city mouse
Staying in the farmhouse
He always hides in my dotted teacup.

He-he laughed the little clay mouse
You’re stuck with me in this farmhouse
I prefer Alice’s Tea Party above you too;
Mad Hatter in my dreams I visit you.

Just then the farmer and his spouse
Entered the farmhouse.

Smiling broadly the farmer said:
Trixy my sweet field mouse
My splendid dotted clay teapot
And my wee teacup clay mouse
We have a big surprise for you.

When the farmer’s spouse announced
Tonight we will watch
The Mad Hatters Tea
The threesome shouted gee
And they all laughed with glee.
