Canadian Christmas Celebrations

Lapland

 is very cold, I am told, but there is magic to be found all around the Arctic Circle.

 Reindeer are roaming the Lappi Land and the beautiful Northern Lights keep Mr. Sandman in a trance.

The reindeer sometimes naughthy, haughthy and nice become at times Santa’s little angry beasts.

But that is another tale of a whale in which I will not indulge today.

Instead of visions of sugar plums, my secret wishlist in Santa’s postoffice in Rovaniemi is filling my head.

I believe in Santa!

Santa being not only jolly but also a holy man will fulfill my secret wish.

And keep it our secret till Christmas morning.

When, on Christmas Eve

in the dark of the night I will try to spot the reindeer on their flight and hitch a ride.

Ho…Ho…Ho…

Till that time I will just dream on!
