Today I’m reporting from my
Fiesta Nook.

So I can keep an eye on the trespassers
and roll on the grass when I feel for it.
It cools me off on a hot day
and keeps me in shape.

You should try it!
Rolling on the grass is good for you.
So, too, on the broadloom and carpets
in the house and on a big sofa or bed.

WOOFFF!

Mistress-mommy says, as a child she liked
to use her bed as a trampoline and loved
rolling off the Dutch dikes, a country
cousin introduced her to on a farm vacation.

There she also learned how to jump over
the Dutch ditches using a strong pole.

Grrrr…..

I could try rolling off a grassy hill and
I could jump over a ditch, but there is
no hill or ditch to find in my nook.

Only a TOADSTOOL!

So, I complained loudly to mommy!

The barking brought the lad downstairs.
He demanded to know what was all the
commotion about. So mommy told him.

All he said was:
“We will try to do something about that
little rascal.
Play with your toys and cool off a bit.”

Woofff!

The lad is a COOL dude!

 Time for a little rhyme…….

It’s another sunny day
A day to laugh and play
By jolly I say it’s a day
Congratulations are on the way!

Also the congrats may seem belated we thought
about everyone on the correct dates.

We celebrated with party hats
and a cool Italian icecream treat.

Mistress-mommy is doing a bit better
and she may walk me a bit next week.
The swelling and bruises are not yet gone
but she says it will not be long before
they will fade away.

GOOD!

I was about to rent

 my best friend’s puppy cart
to give her the care she deserves.

But, I am happy to say
I may not have to cart mommy
on our walking days.
It would be difficult to manage
during a feline or squirrel chase.

Not to forget a confrontation with Miss Skunk!

Grrr-Grrrr-Grrrrr! Wooffff!
