Hullo Friends!

It’s still very hot in my Fiesta Nook.

Earlier I chased the trespassers up the fence,
so it’s nice and quiet around us.

I am away from my LOOK-OUT and am
enjoying
the stillness and a gentle breeze.

I wanted a bit of time off to get
to the bottom of a hot topic;
a “Number Two” issue and
“the Poop & Scoop Fairy.”

I thought I had heard all there is to know
about the sweet little fairies including
all they do for nature and the mere mortals,
but I was mistaken.

I never heard about the “Poop & Scoop Fairies”.

When I told mistress-mommy about it
she laughed loud and said:
“The lad and I are the Poo fairies”.

“Gee”, I said with glee, “and I am Santa!”

Whereupon we both giggled so-o-o loud
that my lion jumped off the kitchen table!

So, the three of us, investigated.

The search took a while but that was good.
It lifted our spirits and took our mind off
Mommy’s sore and stiff knee.

It’s over a week ago that she fell but
the bruises and swelling are not gone.
Mommy says, “you can’t speed up an injury”.

Sigh!
Each day I roll in the grass and imagine
what I could do for her if I were
Peter Pan or Tinker Bell.

We found many images of Poo fairies
and a lot of pictures of Poo signs.
The world wide web is full of them!
But no “Poo” fairy tale or anything related.
